Site attendance in Arez is simple when logged correctly. Following these steps ensures shifts are booked, work is recorded, and jobs are completed without confusion or rework.

When to use the Arez mobile app for site attendance

Use the app whenever you need to log your shift or attendance at a client site. This includes:

  1. Starting a new shift

  2. Recording progress or incidents during a shift

  3. Ending a shift once work is complete

Getting started

Download the Arez app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Open the app and allow all permissions so features such as selfies, photos, and location tracking work correctly.

Log in using your activation code.

From the home screen, tap My Jobs. Do not use Site Book On/Off from the home screen.

Starting a shift

Select your assigned shift from the list and review the job details, including date, time, and site location.

When you arrive on site, open the job and tap Site Book On. You will be asked to take a selfie to confirm attendance.

During the shift

While booked on, you can:

  1. Add progress updates

  2. Report incidents or issues

  3. Capture photos or notes relevant to the job

Keeping updates clear ensures the office team knows exactly what is happening without extra calls.

Completing a shift

When your shift is finished, open the same job and tap Site Book Off. You will be asked to take another selfie to confirm the end of your shift.

Once done, your shift is successfully closed and all information is securely stored in the system.

Best practice tips

Always review job details before booking on

Take selfies at both the start and end of your shift

Use the app to record all updates, incidents, or notes

Ensure attachments or photos are added where needed to reduce follow-up questions

Following this workflow makes your attendance clear, traceable, and ensures jobs run smoothly from start to finish.
