Overview
This guide explains how an Admin can allocate a work order to a service partner in Arez. Allocation formally assigns responsibility for delivering the job and enables the service partner to schedule visits assign workers and track progress. Allocation should always be completed before any site activity begins.
When should a job be allocated?
Allocate a work order once:
The job has been created
The scope, priority, and SLA are confirmed
A suitable and compliant service partner has been identified
Once allocated, delivery ownership moves from the office to the service partner.
Follow the steps below to allocate a work order to a service partner:
1. From the left hand menu click Work Orders
2. Select All Work Orders
3. Use search or filters to locate the relevant job
4. Click the Work Order ID or job title the work order details page will open

5. Select the Assignment tab. A list of the relevant partners will appear under the Assignment tab.
6. Select the appropriate service partner from the list and click assign
Once selected the job status updates to Allocated
The work order has now been successfully allocated and is ready for the service partner to proceed.
