Sites are where work happens add them, group them, archive or delete them when they’re no longer needed. This guide explains the essentials in short, clear sections so you can get tasks done fast in Arez.Create sites to track work, contacts, assets and documents for a physical location. Grouped sites let you manage multiple locations together under one client or project for reporting and bulk actions.
When to Create or Add a Site
Add a site whenever you need to attach work orders, contacts, assets, documents or location data to a physical place. Use grouped sites when multiple locations belong to the same client or project and should be handled as one unit.
Adding a site
Open Sites and click + Site. Complete the required fields and click Save & Close. The new site appears in the site list and you can open its Site Details page to view contacts, work orders, assets, documents and the map view.
Creating a sites group
Switch to Grouped Sites, click + Group, give the group a name, select the client, pick sites to include and click Create Group. The group appears in All Sites and acts as a single container for reporting and bulk updates.

Archive or deleting a site
To archive, open the site list, choose the Actions menu for the site and select Archive, then confirm. Archiving hides the site from day-to-day lists without losing data. To delete permanently, choose Delete, type the confirmation text (for example “delete this site”) and confirm, this action cannot be undone.
Import and export sites
Use Export from the site list to download sites. To import, click Import, select the client to attach the upload to, upload the XLSX template, then Load Data. Validate the preview and finish to add sites in bulk.

Notes
Use grouped sites for client-level reporting and bulk actions.
Archive rather than delete when you may need historical records.
When importing, use the sample template and validate a small batch first.
Summary
In Arez, adding and grouping sites keeps location data organised and easy to manage. Archive sites to preserve history, delete only when necessary, and use import/export for fast bulk updates.
